Posters are a key part of ECCB. Posters will be located in the Museum of Zoology of the University of Bologna close to the Complesso Belmeloro where parallel sessions will be located. Posters will be available for the entire duration of the Congress.

How to create your poster?

• The proposed poster size is A0 format (portrait). If you wish to use a different size, please consider that the size of the poster stand is 196 cm high x 96 cm wide.
• Please state the title and the authors at the top of your poster
• Conference presentation templates are available, but not mandatory. You can download it here: https://eccb2024.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Posters-template-A0.pptx

Poster session details

The two poster sessions are scheduled on Tuesday 18th June and Thursday 20th June during morning coffee breaks. Authors are kindly asked to be present at their posters, during the poster sessions assigned to them, for a possible discussion. We will publish the list of posters for each session soon.
All the posters will be up from Tuesday 18th June to Friday 21st June.

Set up and take down time

Set-up from: Tuesday, 18th 2024, 8:00 a.m.

Take down until: Friday, 21st June 2024, 16:00 p.m.

If possible, please install your poster during the whole day of Monday. Posters should be available for other participants during every day of the congress, from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm. Stands for posters will be marked with numbers which will be available also on the conference website. Please install your poster at the poster board marked with your poster number. Adhesive double-sided tape will be provided on-site. Organizing staff will help you there if requested.

The student posters which have been entered into the student competition will be specially marked.

Posters which are not removed by Friday 6:30 p.m. will be disposed of.

Poster exhibition venue

The poster session will be located in the Museum of Zoology (Collezione di Zoologia) which is part of the university museum system called Alma Mater Studiorum of the University of Bologna.

Do you have any problems with your travel luggage? You don’t want to care for your poster during your travel? Are you in a hurry and looking for a poster at the last minute? We suggest the possibility of printing your poster on-site (next to the Museum of Zoology of the University of Bologna).

You can load your poster file from your office in advance and after your arrival, you can pick up the print-out. Please contact one of these three printing offices:

Guaranteed production time is 24 hours (when ordering before 01:00 p.m.), please send your poster to the printing office no later than Friday morning, 14th June, so you can pick it up on Monday, 17th June! All three of them don’t work on the weekends, so the poster pickup will have to be done on weekdays.
